Individuals that unite with our team are initiated into a family centered around multicultural and diversity that work fluently together. We aim to provide an autonomous atmosphere where everyone is empowered to trust themselves and their capabilities. We encourage and support our team members to be a positive influence and force towards change where there exists systematic and institutional injustices.
If you’re interested in becoming an CMASJ volunteer, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and complete our volunteer form. Volunteers at CMASJ assist us to bring a variety of programs, exhibitions, and activities to the city of Chicago.
At CMASJ, there is much work to do in order to meet our goals and mission. With the help of volunteers performing a variety of duties, anywhere from helping visitors learn about the art and social justice movements, to welcoming individuals in at events, or assisting behind the scenes in our office.
Our volunteers get a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day operations of our children’s museum with exceptional potential for growth. We value new and innovative ideas from our volunteers and provide a space for all of our volunteers to challenge themselves in order to learn skills and gain valuable experiences that they can then be used to further their career.
Every day, CMASJ’s Museum Guides initiate dialogue, foster discovery, and open the eyes and minds of our visitors. Guides enjoy unique access to art and insights, not to mention our visitors’ thought-provoking comments and questions.
